Charles Elmer Coriell

Charles E. Coriell, 95, of Marietta, GA went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 4, 2009.

Charles was born to William E. and Margaret Vroom Coriell on July 16, 1913 in Bridgewater Township, NJ. He was the younger of two children and predeceased by a sister, Isabella C. Seibolt.

He operated the Coriell Nursery which he started when he was sixteen years old, and enjoyed his career in the oil and landscaping businesses. He retired to GA in 1974 with his wife. Charles loved the Lord and was a member of Mt. Paran North Church of God. Charles was a loving husband, father and grandfather not just to his immediate family but to many others whom he called his family.

He is survived by his wife, Andree of Marietta; son, Charles N. Coriell of Sebring, FL.; daughters, Kathleen Crowell of Marietta, Andree Smith of Sugar Hill, GA and Joy Smith of Palmetto, FL; by nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Mount Paran North Church of God of Marietta with Rev. Russell Powell officiating. Interment followed in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

Charles E. Coriell, of Marietta, Ga., went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 4, 2009. Charles was born to William E. and Margaret Vroom Coriell on July 16, 1913, near Sunset Lake in Bridgewater Township. He was the younger of two children and was predated by a sister, Isabella Seibold. He operated the Coriell Nursery, which he started when he was 16. He also worked for Frank Hunter Fuel Oil & Coal. He retired to Georgia in 1974.
He is survived by his wife, Andrée of Marietta; a son, Charles N. Coriell of Sebring, Fla.; and two daughters, Kathleen Crowell of Marietta, and Andrée Marie Smith of Sugar Hill, Ga.
