Maudie Francis Key was born August 11, 1901 in Colorado City, Mitchell County, Texas. She married Robert Leroy Phillips in Sweetwater, Nolan, Texas on March 25th, 1921. They were the parents of sons, Robert and James. She died in Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas, December 18, 1989.
