James Walter Kehoe

US Congressman. He was a successful attorney who was admitted to the bar as a minor in 1889. Because of his age the young lawyer was not allowed to commence practicing law until a special act was passed by the Florida state legislature. The Eufaula, Alabama native begin practicing in Milton, Florida. His reputation as a brilliant and hard working attorney led to him being sent to the Florida state House pf Representatives in 1900, but before the legislative session convened he resigned his seat to become a State Attorney for the first judicial circuit court of Florida. He served in that position from 1900 to 1909. In 1916 the Democrat was elected to represent Florida's Third Congressional District. He served in Congress from 1917 to 1919 losing his bid to be re-elected to a second term. He returned to Florida and continued his private practice, serving one more time as a State Attorney from 1925 to 1926. (bio by: Bigwoo)

Jean Baptist Azereto

Male. Born about 1785; according to book New Orleans Architecture: The Creole Faubourgs, he was born in Genoa, Italy. His father was Francisco Azereto and his mother is listed in the book s "Dame Marie Bordigola, both also of Genoa, Italy. 1803 -- Joined Napoleon army to attack haiti and Santo Domingo; invasion fails because of yellow fever. About 1804, J. B. arrives in New Orleans. According to actual death certificate on microfilm in the Louisiana Division of the New Orleans Public Library, J. B. died on 13 April 1843, age 58 years, at his residence a #183 "Old Levee bet. Hospital & Barracks" His parents and named as Francis Azereto & Mary Bodigola from Genoa, Italy. Interment in St. Louis #1, Aisle 2, North (Find-a-Grave has a picture of the tomb).
